Known for his authentic,
versatile, and thought provoking approach to coaching, he has
personally coached individuals from several different walks of
life - including CEOs, senior executives, bankers, business
owners, civil servants, management consultants, IT consultants,
financial consultants, artist, teacher, government scholar,
parents and homemakers.
As a trainer and facilitator,
Kenny has trained leaders at several FORTUNE 500 companies such as
AES, AMD, Abbott Laboratories and SUN Microsystems on a wide range
of topics including leadership essentials, coaching, effective
communication, performance management, delegation, decision
making, problems solving, conflict resolution, innovation, and
team building.
Previously a manager at
Accenture, Kenny has led organisational transformation programmes
including post-merger integration and implementation of
value-based management in several leading financial institutions
in Singapore and in the region. He was also an associate with two
global HR consultancy firms,
at which he delivered executive assessment, development, and
coaching programmes for high-potential leaders in various multinational
corporations as well as government-linked organisations. In 2006, he was a
recipient of the
Spirit of Enterprise
award -
an annual award that honours inspiring entrepreneurs in
Singapore.
A father of two with a
passion for parent education, Kenny is also a well sought after
speaker who has shared his unique insights on parenting at several
public seminars including Positive Parenting Congress (2009),
Great Parenting Seminar (2007),
and Joyful Parenting Conference (2006). He is also the
founding principal of the Institute of Advanced
Parentology
– a provider of advanced parent education programmes and one of
Asia’s pioneers in the training of professional parenting
coaches.
Kenny holds two bachelor
degrees from Monash University, Australia. He is
professionally trained as a coach with Henley Business School,
University of Reading, and is a certified practitioner of NLP and
Neuro-Semantics.
